Kathy McCarrell is a leading expert in charitable giving as a result of her 30 years of experience as leading some of the most impactful charities in the United States and abroad. Her ability to know what type of charities are truly impacting lives and addressing major social problems is unmatched.

She understands how to help people identify their own vision, and then how to direct their funds to highly vetted, innovative, and well-respected non-profits. Kathy has extensive experience with corporate giving having been part of cause related marketing campaigns for corporations, such as American Airlines, Target and Deloitte.

Kathy has vast international experience. She has toured orphanages in Egypt, Bulgaria, Croatia, Morocco and India. As a Fulbright Scholar, she served as a consultant to the Woman and Children’s Foundation in Dubai. As the CEO of Heroes and Healthy Families, Kathy implemented Combat Trauma programs on US military bases throughout the United States and Japan serving over 22,000 Marines.

A Fulbright Scholar with a master’s degree in Social Work, Kathy has taught in Sociology Department of Chapman University for 20 years and is considered an expert in the field of family violence and child abuse having been featured on CNN, Fox News, MTV, and the Leeza Gibbons Show. She was selected by the Orange County Business Journal as one of the “Top Five Female Business Executives in Orange County.

For fun, she can always be found near the ocean, her three favorite things to do are jet skiing, kayaking, and teaching her 2 year old granddaughter how to swim.
